Today it is a privilege to welcome a brilliant colleague from the University of Gothenburg, Professor Girma Berhanu. Girma’s research interest includes Racism, Inclusion, Equity, Special needs and he has a special interest in Minority students, In fact, Girma is the founder of an initiative called LÄXHJÄLP supporting high-school students from some of Gothenburg’s more segregated areas with their homework. The students come to the University one evening per week where they receive support with their studies while also becoming familiar with the university environment.
